Quidam was really Good. Altho many said its not as good as the previous 2 shows. To me watching them live was really Great. My friends and I were excited and really looking forward to the show. Thankfully, there was no rain so walking to the Chapiteau was nice. Entering the venue, we saw many really nice masks which costs up to $400! Cheapest was $35 but are really nice. We took pictures of course. One lesson I learnt is to bring your own bottle of water cos they usually charge high price ie $5.00 for a bottle of mineral water and $7.00 for pop corn smaller than what you get at cinemas. I would say the best seats are directly in front of the stage cos at some part of the show, not only will you get to participate, the acrobats may hang directly above you. Those who got seats on the last row, don't think you'll miss much cos the seating isn't too far away. I enjoyed the show a lot, most of the time I was watching with my jaws almost on the floor, holding by breath for each act, each jump and flip, if not, the other 20% was laughing at my hardest at the clowns. The acrobats are all very elegant at each move and flawless at every act. To sum it all, GREAT SHOW NOT TO BE MISSED.
p.s. the only free thing given out was cards with a lucky draw.

BEP Concert in Singapore Indoor Stadium Sept 2005
I could only get tix at $99 on 19 Sep, 6pm, all other tix are either soldout (even $119) or left with single seats. They were selling T-shirts for SGD$40 !! No merchandise worth getting la.We were early, the show started at 8 with local Beat Box competition (using only your mouth to create all kindsa sounds) and a 15 year old won thecompetition. I must say he's got talent and creativity. Wish him all thebest. After that, we waiting a w..h..i..l..e.. till they finally came out at 9!And everyone screamed like crazy (which includes me of course). They were GREAT! Each person including the musicians (I call them music engineers) showcased their talents. They got everyone jumping out of their seats, dancing, participating with each number. I think the people sitting behindus were fed up with us for standing up blocking their view. Fergie sang a looong note lying on the floor & Al went really close to the audience STANDING ON THE BARRIER singing. The show ended at 11.Pictures taken were no good but here they are: BEP concert , POD cast

At the same time, I would like to pay tribute to a very nice guy who died on 21/09/05 morning. I got the news when i met an ex-colleague who told me he died of bone cancer. He was one of the nicest guy i know. its so sad he has left us so early. God bless.

Church Wedding - i went was really nice, short, simple with many many familiar faces. Everyone was delighted to see ex-staff (high mgt) glad to know shes doing fine. Also saw a few faces not seen for a while. It was very nice to know the newly weds touching side of their story. Glad to know they have found their soul mate and willing to commit to each other. Maybe this a good year for others after all (tho according 2 chinese horoscope - rabbits not so good year this year). Like they say: Better to count your blessings. Going for weddings is like a big get-together, its here where you get to meet people you thot you lost contact with for a looong time. My next one coming up is end of the month - another get-together with another lot.

Month of Sept
Kelvin just won the title of S'pore's superstar - congrats to him.
Kelly din't loose much either. I wonder if Jun Yang and Sin Huey will get to record their album too or not. There's definitely a few talents in the final 24. Whoever they are I'm sure many will support local talents. I din't know Derrick has a TWIN brother - double cute.
Birthday - this month is my hubby's b'day - gotta get a b$$g present.
BEP concert - I think I may miss this, timing is difficult. Also no point going to a concert seated where the performers looks like ants on stage.
Quidam - however I'll be going for Quidam which is great. Really looking forward to this.
The final concert is by project superstar 24 finalists. Would love to go but am I too old for this? hope I get free tix...
